So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Men's and Women's fitness is way different. It is usually the norm that a woman wants to lose weight and a man wants to build muscle. Men typically see results sooner than women, because their metabolism is higher, and they start out with less body fat. Oftentimes, men and women have different objectives when approaching a fitness routine. Men usually want to increase bulk, while women prefer to drop weight. Men tend to have a lower body fat composition. Younger men also typically enjoy a speedy metabolism, and they see outcomes more rapidly.

After becoming familiar with the movements, try to decrease your overall workout time by ten percent. Do it in a shorter time, this will push you harder. Your endurance will also improve. For example, if you have a particular leg workout that takes one hour to complete, try to finish it in 54 minutes the next time you do that routine. As you meet your goals, try reducing your time for each exercise. Your muscles will work harder if you do an intense workout in a short period of time. You can increase your endurance by working out intensely for a small amount of time. If you usually complete a workout in one hour, attempt to complete it in 54 minutes.

While you are performing your bench press, keep your eye on your dominant hand. Research has shown that dominant hand focus can impact the amount that can be benched. When you are focused on your stronger hand, the natural strength that is associated with the dominant side of your body helps balance the bar loaded with weights. Look at the hand you use the most, the dominant one, when you're benching. It's been proven that keeping your eye on the dominant hand you can increase the weight you're able to bench. The theory is that your dominant hand dictates which side of your body is stronger, so by focusing on that hand, you are giving the body a chance to balance itself.

Motivation does not come easily to people who don't exercise regularly. Start slowly, and work your way up. Start with small steps such as parking farther away from work or the parking spots farthest away from the store. Sneak a walk in during your lunch hour. Even if you don't have time to work out every day, incorporating exercise into your daily routine several times per week can provide great health benefits. People who haven't exercised much lately might find it hard to get into the swing of things. In this case, your best option would be to start off slowly. You can start exercising in easy ways that you will hardly notice, like parking at the far end of the parking lot at the store or at work. Take a walk at lunchtime. Even if you only exercise once or twice a week for 20 minutes, research indicates that this is beneficial.
