So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

I Found An Amazing Website For Some Gorgeous Kids Room Rugs

By Odett J. Anayell

My friends had all talked a great deal about the nesting that comes when you are pregnant, but I never truly understood it until I got pregnant myself and began an extensive search for some kids room rugs. The reason I began the search for a rug was because, soon after I learned that I was pregnant, I was thinking about how I wanted to decorate the nursery for the new baby, and I got an astoundingly clear vision of how I wanted it all to look down to the last little detail.

I was going to go with an animal theme and focus mostly on giraffes, both because they are visually appealing, and because I have fond memories of seeing giraffes at the zoo as a child. Once I had this idea firm in my mind, I gathered everything up, including paints and decals, as well as some stuffed animals, and I even hired a carpenter who promptly got to work building a custom giraffe crib. Around three months before the baby arrived, I had everything set up in the room just so, but I was just missing a cute rug for the floor.

I was not all that stressed out about this, as I figured it would be a pretty easy task to find a cute rug for the nursery. I was totally wrong however, and when I went down to the nearest carpet store, I was extremely disheartened to see that there were not any kids room rugs in the entire store. I spent several minutes wandering around the store looking for someone who worked there, and when I did find someone, I asked him if they carry kids' rugs, but he just shrugged and said he didn't think so.

I drove home feeling gloomy, and my insane hormones started to convince me that if I didn't find the perfect rug, it would mean that I was going to be a terrible mother. I know that this is totally irrational, since a brand new baby can barely see at all, let alone see and pass judgment on a rug. Still, I really wanted to find a cute rug, and didn't know where to look.

After a while, I decided to jump on the computer and see what I could find online, and I am certainly glad that I did, since I found an awesome website full of great rugs. I found a rug that was precisely what I was looking for, and as I placed my order, I also threw in some handmade Persian rugs that I thought would make the house a little more inviting for the new baby!
