So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

How to Choose the Best Moisturizer for Oily Skin

By Rob Sutter

While I may sound like a cheesy spokesperson pitching something on an infomercial, are you sick of your oily skin and ready to eradicate the issue? Well, as cheesy as that fictional pitch may have been, I know that the concept of outbreaks isn't an attractive one and I speak from experience, since high school was tough for me because of them. You are warranted in wanting to get rid of those. It seems like you can, since many a moisturizer for oily skin is available on the market. Which one will work best for you?

Before you decide to use any kind of moisturizer, you should be aware of your physiology and how oils on your skin already create a sense of moisture. Investing in a moisturizer for oily skin is fine but you should be aware that doing it directly without any prior cleaning will only perpetuate the oily content of said skin. Likewise, amongst other companies invested in the realm of skincare, will pride themselves on thinking about the well-being of their customers' skin. They should be able to properly illustrate the importance of cleaning beforehand, whether on the container or on the site of the company itself.

There is arguably no place else where you can find ideal skincare advice than from those who are well versed in medicine. Take, for instance, Dr. Mehmet Oz, who many of us know from "The Dr. Oz Show." He spoke on Sharecare.com about moisturizer utilization for healthy skin, saying that while most people say it shouldn't be combined, there are instances where it can be beneficial for cleaning. "Noncomedogenic" is the term to search for on any bottle so that you know it won't be pore-clogging.

There are many oil-free solutions that can be utilized if one has such a strong need for moisturizers for oily skin. Alpha Hydrox is helpful in that it is able to exfoliate the skin and eliminate the oily content of pores in the process. Neutrogena's Oil-Free Moisturizer is another reliable solution, since it can hydrate the skin and eliminate oily residue as well. These sorts of moisturizers can be used but you must be certain that cleansing should take place first so that there's no sense of failure in putting them to work.

You'll find that the great amount of moisturizer choices may seem daunting but finding the perfect ailment for your oily complexion may be easier than you think. Advice from a specialist is something you can rarely go wrong with, so make sure you listen to him or her. That kind of advice is worth quite a bit, especially when you know the vast amount of moisturizer choices on the market. The know-how from a specialist in tandem with the intelligence of moisturizer choices can bring you to make a choice for yourself.
