So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Obtaining Quality Interior Designer Work: Where To Start And Where To Go

By Bob Saggit

Do you need someone that can help you unburden some of your workload? Do you consider looking for a good interior designer to help you? Here are some easy ways to find a good one.

You could be spending thousands of dollars on your project. Hiring the right interior designer when that much money is involved is serious. Take the time to hire the best interior designer you can find.

Check out the interior designer's criminal record. Doing a simple background check is inexpensive and could save you from a dangerous or costly situation. Remember, this person is going to be in your home and around your family, so protecting your assets is vital.

Ask an expert to write your scope of works. Often it is better to get someone in the know to write your scope of works. If your project is in a very specific niche then this is very useful.

Make sure the interior designer you choose has completed a job similar to the one you are hiring them for. You need to know that they have the exact experience you are looking for before you hire them.

Always run a check on anyone that will be working in your home or around your family. Sites exist to allow you to run free criminal background checks. If you have concerns, hire someone else.

Some interior designers have very large crews. Make sure you are aware of the size of their crew. It will be helpful to know how many people to expect on your job.

Ask the interior designer how many projects like yours they have completed in the last year. The more they have worked on the same projects the better a job they will do on yours. Ask to see pictures of the finished project as well.

There are websites online that rate interior designers and they are a good source to find out the good and the bad about your potential interior designer. Find a good rating service like Angie's List and search for the type of interior designer you are hoping to find. You will get feedback from people that have actually used the interior designers.
