So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

By Lani Smith

Home is where the heart is. Home sweet home. There's no place like home. There is more to the list of sayings that talk about the home - the place where we dwell, where we grow, where we spend quality time with our loved-ones. There are reasons why it is called a home and not merely a house. In fact, no matter where we work, no matter where we spend holiday seasons, we always go back to this place. Our home.

Without question, our homes play a significant role in our lives. In this regard, it's also vital that we maintain and beautify the interiors of our living spaces. The living room being the first place visitors and members of the family step into and the place where the family spends bonding time together, should be given utmost importance.

Basically, the living room exudes the first impression to guests that pay visit to our homes. Certainly, we want to have the best impression at once, particularly that the living room displays the style and design of the rest of the house. With respect to this, every living room renovation should focus on creating an ambience that will facilitate communicating the individual personality and character of the homeowner to every guest.

With will, creativity, knowledge and budget refurbishing and renovating your living room will be a breeze. First, you must decide on the type of furnishings that you will incorporate in the living room while taking into consideration that this area is where the family get together and receives visitors. Go for items that that's pleasing to the wider senses.

Bear in mind that harmony is the key in living room Interior design. It's important to pay special attention to the cohesiveness of the furnishings, the space and the general theme to achieve the convergence of a variety of visual elements that foster the inviting ambience that a living room must possess. By doing so, it is easier to build a living room where every member of the family looks forward to coming together.
