So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Make Your Coffee Better By Reading This Article

By Bob Spike

People have to have their coffee in the morning. Whether you make your own coffee or pick some up from the shop, you surely enjoy a nice cup of joe. If you're interested in getting more from your coffee, check out these incredible pointers.

Try adding flavored syrups to your coffee before milk or creamer. The hotness of the coffee will help the syrup dissolve. The syrup's flavors and smells are much stronger when done that way. After the syrup has dissolved, add any other desired ingredients.

Always use an airtight container when storing coffee in a refrigerator. If not, odors from the refrigerator can seep in and permeate the coffee. Moisture can also seep in when coffee is left in a container that is not airtight.

It is common to misjudge how long your coffee should be brewed. Brewing coffee for between four and five minutes tends to yield the best results. Longer than that, your coffee is likely to have a bitter flavor. If it isn't brewed long enough, it can have a bland taste.

Store your coffee beans inside a container that's airtight. The container should be dark rather than see through. Keep the container stored in a place with low moisture and heat. A root cellar is the perfect place if you have one. If that is not possible, they can be stored in the refrigerator for as long as two weeks.

Always perform a trial run with any new coffee maker. A trial run involves running water through your machine just like you were actually brewing. This cleans out aromas, dirt, dust and debris that might have taken hold during manufacture and transport to the store.

Is milk something you like putting in your coffee? You can use milk in a variety of ways for coffee. Some people like cold milk but you can get a different texture by warming the milk first or by using a milk frothing machine. Vary the amount of milk you use to slightly change the flavor.

If you've got a little extra coffee, freeze it using ice cube trays. You can use these cubes of coffee in your next iced coffee and, unlike ice made from water, they won't weaken your beverage. You can also use these cubes to cool hot coffee or to put them into cocktails.

If you like to drink coffee in various flavors, buy creamers or syrups to add after the coffee is brewed. This way, you will not contaminate your machine with conflicting flavors. You'll also be able to preserve the integrity of each blend of coffee you decide to make. Always put in the flavors prior to adding your milk, however.

Don't just pour coffee over ice cubes when preparing iced coffee at your house. This just dilutes your coffee with melting water. Instead, use leftover coffee to make coffee ice cubes. Once they are frozen, they are ideal for iced coffee, adding flavor as they melt.

As mentioned, people all over the world drink coffee every day. The smell and taste are enticing enough for people to keep brewing the delicious beverage. With a bit of knowledge, it is easy to brew an ideal cup of java. You simply need to follow the advice in this piece as you begin the brewing process.
