So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

The Emily Melodis Bucket - The Better Way To Manage Silage

By Jerry Wright

Is a big part of your working day on the property spent delivering feed to your stock? And loading it, mixing it, moving it? Have you seen the Melodis rotor bucket? It has three features that will revolutionise your stock feed and make those times go past in a flash. This all in one unit, picks up, mixes, moves and dumps silage! You won't have to have many machinery operators or many different kinds of buckets anymore. It is so easy to feed stock with the Emily Melodis Bucket the customers say they don't know how they ever got through the work before.

Melodis Rotor Bucket main features:

1) Rotor drum

The bucket has a hydraulically powered rotor drum, which moves up and down to scrape silage off the clamp face. This loads the bucket with a broken up silage base for the mix and makes it incredibly easy to break into dense, compacted silage pits, leaving a sealed face on the pit. All you have to do is drive the attachment to the pile, lower the rotor and then tip back the bucket and begin transporting the load!

2) Slow-moving auger

These slow moving augers can mix all kinds of materials/silage to make it the correct consistency for setting out the feed. It is used to feed the mix out the end of the bucket as well.

3) Doors that are hydraulically operated

Once the silage is mixed, it's easy to operate the auger to distribute it to your livestock via the Melodis bucket's hydraulically operated doors. For those with numerous feedlots to service, there is the option of having doors on both sides of the attachment. If you're not sure which is right for you, ask for further information. It's also easy to distribute on the ground at a feed pen OR at a raised trough, as the Melodis bucket can be raised and lowered to the required height.

Emily Melodis bucket advantages:

- Only one machinery operator is needed to cut, mix and feed the livestock.

- Strength of Hardox structure build in the bucket construction.

- Versatile - has been designed for dry food, silage, maize and chopped grass.

- Great visibility and ease of use from cab, so safer.

- Fast and precise mixing and feeding, with no disintegration of the ration.

The Emily Melodis grain bucket comes in different sizes from 1 cu m to 4.6 cu m just right for whatever job you have and fits all kinds of machines.
