So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Keeping Your Hankook Tires And Wheels Looking Great

By Miles R. Rau

You can get any tire you need by shopping amongst a variety of manufacturers, including Hankook Tires. Like most tire makers, they have an ample range of tire sizes and tread designs that will also accommodate modified and custom vehicles that have oversized wheels or that require a particularly aggressive tread on the tires. Of course, even if you have an especially rugged vehicle, you want it to look good with its wheels. There are lots of different cleaning solutions and techniques that people use to keep their tires and wheels clean, but the best way to do so is following the tire maker's suggestions and avoiding products that might affect the way your car looks.

Hankook Tires have to be cleaned with a slightly soft brush that will not be able to accidentally puncture any points on the tire's sidewalls or tread. It is important to be careful when going around the edges of your tire because these are the softest, thinnest, and therefore weakest parts. As for the cleaning products you use, a basic mixture of soap and water will be fine even though some folks prefer to purchase a special tire cleaning solution available in most auto parts stores. You can improve the look and quality of yours tires by applying a tire dressing directly to the rubber each time you wash and dry the tires.

If the rims you use with your Hankook Tires feature a painted finish, you should be careful not to use chemical based cleaners that could damage the finish on the wheels. Depending on the way the wheel was made and the kind of finish that is on it, caustic chemicals could permanently damage them by stripping off the finish. Use a light cleaning agent and a soft sponge similar to what you would use on the doors and panels of your car when cleaning the rims.

The finish on chrome plated rims is a bit more delicate and thus you should be careful when cleaning them. Keeping the chrome protected under a layer of wax is one good way to avoid unnecessary damage to the finish between cleanings.

With just some occasional cleaning and focus on detail, you can keep your Hankook Tires and wheels looking great. Before you start using any new sponges, brushes, or cleaning products, confirm that they will not harm your tires or wheels.
