So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Remember that if your car is still running, there might be someone needing it to get to work or use it as a starter for their kid. For that reason, you want to search around and see if anybody is in the market for what you have to sell.

Many people know that you can vend your car to a junk yard and they can come pick it up. On the usual, they take the spare parts off your car and pay you for them. Many people who work with cars especially the old ones source their parts from the junk yard. If you don't know where to go, You can always visit junkyards on the Internet. This site lists many yards in the states hence you are guaranteed to find one within your area. If this is what you desire. Your car can fetch from 50 to thousands of dollars from these yards depending on the make and state of your car.

You can also give your car to charity. Some organizations will come and told away your car and it will cost you anything. Most of these organizations can sell to junkyards or other places and get money for doing so. Most of the time when you donate it becomes tax-deductible. Exceptions exist when auto-recyclers come and take your car without paying you for it. The various organizations that you can just give your car include Car Donations For Cancer, and Make-A-Wish Donation.

While thinking of giving away your car, consider if there is a neighbor or relative who might want something to use to get from one point to another. You car might be ideal. One organization called Freecycle is a national network it's trying to keep landfills clear. Their solution to this is finding a place to dispose of your car.

Depending on how old your car is, there are some people who might be interested in restoring it. You'll have to search around for places like craigslist or national registries to find these people.
