So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The most likely place to locate sewing materials is at a fabric store. These kinds of stores are stocked with all sorts of products that can be used to make clothes, shoes and even furniture. Find the store nearest you and tell one of the clerks what you are looking for. They should be able to lead you to the right section of the store.

You should be able to find all sorts of resources on the web. Many fabric stores and sewing dealers have websites where you can directly purchase your products. These sites typically have a larger selection than actual stores. Be mindful of shipping costs when shopping on the internet.

If you can't find what you're looking for in a store or on the web then you may want to check some old pants and shirts. This is and excellent thing to do, particularly if you no longer wear the item. It's not hard to remove a button from a shirt or a pair of pants and sew it on to something else.

It's a good idea to see if a fashion trade show will be coming to town. These type of events are known for having vendors that sell items pertaining to that industry. There is a great chance that you can find a vendor that sells sewing supplies at one of these events.

If you know of someone else who enjoys sewing, it may be a good idea to speak with them and let them know what your needs are. They may have this item in their supply of materials that they use. Speak to friends and family members. You may even have a coworker that enjoys sewing.
