So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas - Merry Christmas

Return Of Alfa Romeo US Sales Is Serious, Really

By Cornelius Nunev

Alfa Romeo is very serious about going back to the U.S. sometime soon, with the gorgeous 4C roadster leading the charge. Granted, any reference to the return of Alfa Romeo U.S., normally, has to be taken with a huge old pile of salt.

Getting the car back

For some time, Fiat has been promising the return of its luxury brand Alfa Romeo to the States. The brand fits between two other Fiat brands that are just a little more luxurious and just a little less.

Fiat has promised the return of Alfa to the United States in spite of the belief that it has not been sold here in a really long time. It was initially supposed to launch in 2013, then 2014, and then 2013 again.

The Star Phoenix reports that Fiat will start selling later this year. NBC News reports that Alfa Romeo U.S. sales will be started with the Alfa Romeo 4C, which is a sports car.

Many people react

Even though it may seem like the Alfa Romeo news is huge, people typically do not really care about it. In fact, not a number of people will be getting the $75,000 to $100,000 vehicle. It is a really costly cost that equates to payments people cannot afford, as shown in an auto loan rates calculator, according to NBC News.

The Star-Phoenix explained that the carbon fiber cabin means that only 2,500 will be produced annually.

Alfa has been gone from the States since 1995, and it did not sell a lot even when it was here. In 1986, it sold 8,201 automobiles, but that was the most it ever sold in a year. According to Car and Driver, it may never show up anyway considering promises never come through recently.

Alfa promised to return numerous times since 2000, only to revise the date and meant distributor a number of times. Recently they seem a bit more severe about resuming sales this year. Given, they did manage to sell a few 8C Competizione roadsters in 2008 in the U.S.; however, that was about this.

Huge deal in press

Alfa Romeo was well-known for being really unreliable in the past. The media is making it look like a huge deal, but many people do not care that it is coming back. In fact, it is just one more luxury brand to choose from, but many people will go with what they already have and feel comfortable with.

The people who do purchase an Alfa will only be doing it because it is ridiculously beautiful. A concept car called the Gloria will be shown off at some auto shows later this year, according to Automobile Magazine, but it is expected to be really beautiful. If the 4C and 8C is any indicator, it will look really good.
