So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

By Ann Foster

Visiting other countries is truly a nice experience. You get to see things that are very different from the place you grow up to. Furthermore, you might probably be surprised when you found out about their vehicles. Why their steering wheels are is placed on the right side instead on left part? Indeed, every country is different and for that reason, others will need a RHD conversion Nissan titan to convert their cars.

It sometimes makes you curious about the reason behind their system. Nevertheless, everything has a reason and that practice had started long time ago in English feudalism. The sword fighters and knights were all right-handed. For that reason, they prefer fighting on the left side because it gives more convenience to them. They easily can wield their swords and fight when an opponent is about to attack them. It also prevents their scabbard from bumping to another. Furthermore, they can mount and dismount on their horses in a more convenient manner. The bottom line there is that it provides them more convenient way to battle.

It was Napoleon who firstly broke this norm and implemented the left-hand driving as he defeated some European countries. But the Britain obstinately refused to follow his act and keep the tradition. As a matter of fact, they even implement this rule to all of its colonies. No wonder India still use that practice until now.

USA wanted also to break away from the roots of Britain and as they did that, they also shifted to left-hand driving. Nonetheless, there are still countries who used the RHD practice. In fact, almost one third of this world are still using that, particularly in Japan, Thailand, Australia, Ireland, India and many others.

Other individuals may not know about this information. After all, most would say that it all happens in the past and you could never go back to it. Regardless of that, its history is worth mentioning. Furthermore, others should also understand about it so if they go to other country, they will not be surprised about their system.

Let us say you purchased an automobile from Japan. And Japan practiced the right-hand driving. When you move to countries like Philippines, and you have no idea about their rules. Afterwards, you would be shocked that you already violated one of their laws.

It certainly is necessary to understand how a system in a particular country works. That way, no more trouble will happen to you. Besides, there are services there which will certainly help you on solving your predicament.

In choosing the right one, you should always consider the reputation of the service providers as well as their experience. If most of their customers are satisfied by their service and had given good reviews, then you could rely on it. Moreover, you also must prepare about your money as well. It is really advisable to be prepared so hassles will be avoided.

Indeed, other countries have different rules. Others may have right-hand driving cars or the opposite. More importantly, it also is necessary to be familiarized with it.
