So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

The Missoni Turban In The World Of Fashion

By Sue Carpenter

The fashion world changes every day and what is in style do day can be thrown out tomorrow. That being said the Missoni turban fashion trend may be here to stay for a while. While turbans have been around for a very long time in many religions, recently they have made a giant splash into mainstream cultures. This giant fashion house is on top of this trend adding their very own special touch to the product.

They have been best known over the years for their knitwear styles and this is something that they have brought to the turban trend. The intricacy of the crochet patterns adds texture to the designs and gives them something that plan cloth turbans don't have. They are made in many different patters so there are many options to choose from.

The colors and designs that are offered by the brand also make finding an item to go with your own personal style very easy to do. They use many bright colors and that work well with each other to create different looks for any outfit. There are also many different patterns that are made in the knitwear although they do not do many solid colors.

The standard turban style that they've created sits simply on top of the head with your hair gathered beneath it. This has a similar appearance to other traditional styles that are worn in many religious cultures but with a more fashionable twist to it. There are many different colors and patterns to choose from.

There are also turbans that have a tail that hangs down the back. This can be left alone or tied into a bow of sorts to give it a little more detail. These are great for a hippie fashion look and go very well with loose fitting shirts and long skirts. The look is very unique and show that the wearer has style.

There are also turban headbands which have made a huge buzz in the fashion industry. Missoni has created a fabulous line of these pieces using influences from traditional styles of turbans to create something completely unique. The feature the unique crochet work of the brand with a twist at the front which is similar to the way many traditional turbans are wrapped.

The reasons for adding these fantastic items to your wardrobe are not strictly fashion, they also have many practical uses. They are great for covering hair to keep it out of the way and can be used in many different situations. They are also a great alternative to hats when going out to parties and social events.

While these are not new to the world the Missoni turban trend has given the item a new life. While traditional turbans are created by wrapping long lengths of cloth around the head many times, these are much simpler and easier to wear. They also come in many great styles and patterns that are not found in many of the traditional ones, so the fashion possibilities are endless.
