So This Is Christmas

Merry Christmas is such an infectious feeling I like to feel that way all year around.

So if you are visiting just before Christmas, just after Christmas or even here on Christmas day I am sure you will find something of interest for you and in the spirit of Christmas.

It may be said that Christmas is no longer a celebration but this must be spoken by people that have never had trouble closing their eyes on Christmas Eve in an expectation of what maybe left for them on the carpet under the tree.

I continue to look forward to the surprise on my Grandchild's faces to this day at Christmas events.

Frigidaire 6000-Btu Mini Compact Window Air Conditioner - Window Air Conditioner Installation Review

By Lilly Scott

It's intelligently designed and fits well in my hands. I haven't found a very good purpose to use it but it's just cool to have it around when youre sitting in front of the computer. You have to use another instrument to take it off and sometimes when you put it back on you have to do it a few times because the sides don't line up correctly. Fortunately, it has vents so you typically don't have to...you just squeeze the water through the vents when it refills and the instructions say to refill it about every hour.

I have to say that standard misting fans are great if you're out at the beach or something, but if you don't want to get wet it can't be used. The way the handy cooler is designed gives you the same effect but without the wetness hitting you.

The problems were as follows. As a 77 year old woman, the item was too heavy and caused pain to my hand when I held it. The highest speed blows a perfect amount of air on the hottest days and it gives out a low, droning buzz. In fact, the buzz on my laptop is even louder than this fan so it is never considered a distraction when I am working.

And the company has the gall to claim you're getting a $50 savings?! It's just another symptom of a society trying to get the most for the least.

Slower delivery than I expected. In warm conditions, this works fine.

It fit in my normal-sized fanny pack with an extra set of batteries and the little water bottle, along with a small still camera and a Flip video camera. By midmorning my t-shirt was soaked and I had already wrung out my headband twice, so I found a little shade and fired this guy up.

Is it meant to be a wrist strap? Because I would never attach it to my hand and walk around with it because is a bit large to do that. The only thing I could ask for is a longer USB cable. Summer has been on the cooler side so far but the hottest month is still to come so I expect to give the fan a real workout.

I was very impressed by the included accessories. It comes with a USB adapter and a little bottle for you to take some extra water for the sponge! The fan is failing after less than a year on two units used extensively. For a $50 fan I expect it to last. However, it's certainly not as cool as your car's air-conditioner. One way to make the air a little cooler is to store the refill water bottles in the refrigerator. While I like the idea I cannot recommend this product. This fan is light weight and it has the ability to use batteries or USB.
